Prayer to Receive the Baptism in the Holy Spirit

Dear Heavenly Father, I come to you right now in Jesus Name to receive the gift of the baptism in the Holy Spirit that You have for me. You said in your Word that You would give the Holy Spirit to those who ask You. Father, I am Your child, and I want everything that You have for me. I believe You want me to have Your power in my life to make me a better witness.

I ask You to fill me to overflowing right now with Your Spirit. Give me utterance in an unknown tongue so that I can stay built up and pray to You when I do not know what to pray for. I believe that You hear me and that I am receiving this from You right now. Thank You for it Father. Now I yield to You and begin to speak in tongues as You give me utterance in Jesus Name.
